Standard header - A standard header, in C, Objective-C and C++ programming, is a header file that contains common definitions and data structures that all programs may use as required. Also called "include files," header files use the #include preprocessing directive to incorporate them with the program.

Protocol header encrypt - Protocol header encrypt (PHE), Message stream encryption (MSE) or Protocol header encryption (PHE) are features of some BitTorrent clients that attempts to make BitTorrent hard to throttle. Some ISPs throttle BitTorrent traffic because it makes up a large porportion of total traffic and the ISPs don't want to spend money buying extra capacity.

Precompiled header - Precompiled header is a performance feature found in some C or C++ compilers used to reduce compilation time. The idea is to compile seldomly changed header files into object code so that subsequent compilations are faster, at the cost of the initial, slower precompilation.

Page header - A page header or simply header in typography is that material which is separated from the main body of text and appears at the top of a printed page. Word processing programs usually provide for the creation and maintenance of page headers, which are often the same from page to page, with merely small differences in information, such as page number.
